Key Features & Benefits

1+1 Independent Channel Function

The Cefar Professional features two fully independent channels that can run the same or different programs simultaneously. This allows pain relief and muscle stimulation to be delivered in one session, improving comfort and treatment efficiency.

Advanced Program Control

The device includes 10 preset programs and the ability to store up to 5 custom programs. This enables professionals to prescribe precise treatment protocols while allowing flexibility for progression over time.

Electrode Compatibility

The Cefar Professional uses standard pin-and-socket (pigtail) electrodes, allowing compatibility with a wide range of electrode sizes and styles.

Compliance & Monitoring

Built-in compliance tracking allows monitoring of total usage and time since last reset. A locking function ensures only prescribed programs are used, supporting safe and effective home treatment.

Electro-Acupuncture Mode

When connected to acupuncture needles using appropriate accessories, the Cefar Professional can deliver electro-acupuncture stimulation, offering an additional option for pain modulation.

*Electro-acupuncture mode is intended for trained professional use. Needles and alligator clips sold separately.

Rotatable Belt Clip

The included belt clip allows the unit to rotate for easy access to lead wire ports, improving comfort and usability during movement.

Electrode Pads & Compatibility

The Cefar Professional TENS / NMES unit uses standard pin-and-socket (pigtail) electrode connections, making it compatible with a wide range of electrode pad brands, shapes, and sizes. You can explore compatible options in our pigtail electrodes category.

This flexibility allows users to select electrode pads based on treatment area, comfort preference, and clinical goals without being locked into proprietary accessories.

Compatible Electrode Types

Common Electrode Sizes

  • 5 cm x 5 cm (2” x 2”) – general pain relief and muscle stimulation
  • 5 cm x 9 cm (2” x 3.5”) – larger muscle groups
  • Oval or rectangular pads for contouring around joints
  • Large electrodes for back, hip, and thigh applications

Electrode size selection should be based on the treatment area, comfort level, and stimulation goals. Smaller electrodes provide more focused stimulation, while larger electrodes distribute current over a broader area.
