Description

Richmar Home Ultrasound Professional 2000 – 2nd Edition

The Richmar Home Ultrasound Professional 2000 (2nd Edition) is an advanced therapeutic ultrasound device designed for home use. It offers greater control and flexibility than entry-level home ultrasound units and is intended for individuals continuing care at home following instruction or recommendation from a healthcare professional.

Advanced Therapeutic Ultrasound for Home Use

Therapeutic ultrasound delivers high-frequency sound waves into soft tissues, creating gentle mechanical vibration within the tissue. Unlike electrical stimulation modalities, ultrasound energy is transmitted through sound waves using a piezoelectric crystal.

The Professional 2000 model provides expanded treatment options compared to basic home ultrasound units, including additional output modes and treatment controls, while still remaining suitable for guided home use.

Designed for Continuation of Care at Home

This unit is well suited for individuals who have previously received ultrasound therapy and are continuing treatment at home under professional guidance. It offers both pulsed and continuous ultrasound modes, allowing users to follow more advanced treatment parameters when appropriate.

Treatment times are selectable at 5, 10, or 15 minutes, depending on the area being treated and prior instruction.

Important Use Notice

The Richmar Home Ultrasound Professional 2000 is not a clinical-grade ultrasound system and is not intended to replace ultrasound equipment used in physiotherapy or chiropractic clinics.

This device is designed for home use as part of a guided or continuation-of-care program.

  1. This is the first ultrasound machine I’ve owned, and I wish I’d bought it sooner. As someone who continually has hand and wrist injuries (from golfing), this ultrasound unit has been very useful in helping repair the turning and twising damage. It is super simple and easy to operate and comes with an acutal printed quick reference guide -(instead of a 50 page instruction manual or QR code requiring you to go online) – so you can immediately start using it!

  2. Ok, I guess….

  3. The ultrasound device does seem to make a difference. I have been using it daily for the past two weeks since I received it from the Physio Store. There is a noticeable reduction of pain in my shoulders. I will continue for at least another couple of weeks to see if I can get any further improvement.

  4. Seems to have fixed my Sacro iliac jt. with one application- Yay! Is helping with my hip op rehab. A worthwhile purchase and investment in my health regime as I age. Definitely pleased! Thanks Physio Store.
