Understanding the Therapy Modes

What is TENS?

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) delivers gentle electrical pulses through the skin to stimulate nerve fibers. It is widely used for non-invasive, drug-free pain management.

What is NMES / EMS?

NMES stimulates targeted muscles to contract and relax, helping support muscle activation, circulation, and recovery as part of a therapeutic program.

What is Interferential Current Therapy (IFC)?

IFC uses two medium-frequency currents that intersect to create a therapeutic effect, often described as comfortable and suitable for deeper tissue areas.

  1. The Neo is a great little machine once you have it figured out. This issue is not due to the Pysiostore at all but the manufacturer. When I called with questions, the folks at the Physiostore replied promptly and I’m pretty happy with the machine. The battery life is great and the carrying case is awesome and excellent for travel.

  2. Like it takes some getting use to all the programs on it!

  3. Took a while to get used to it. (Set up)

  4. Seamless ordering and delivering. So far happy with bouth StimTec Neo device.

  5. Works great I’ve used it several times and the battery still shows fully charged.
