Ossur’s Warranty Guarantees their Off-the-Shelf Knee Braces 2 years for Frame & Hinges and 6 months for soft goods, liners, straps!
Össur warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not apply if this product:
- was not purchased from Össur or its authorized dealer;
- has been altered in any way; or
- has not been used in accordance with Össur’s Instructions for Use (IFU).
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, accidents, neglect, misuse, or operation beyond capacity, parts damaged by improper installation, substitution or parts not approved by Össur, or any other alteration or repair by others that, in Össur’s judgment, materially or adversely affects the product or part.
The duration of this Limited Warranty varies by product but is effective from the date of delivery to the purchaser. Össur’s sole obligation under this Limited Warranty is to either repair or replace the product at no charge, or to credit purchaser’s account for the value of the defective product at Össur’s sole discretion. Please check your package immediately to be sure your order is correct and items were not damaged. If you receive a defective product or an incomplete order, CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY prompt action. Damaged or short shipments should be reported within 5 days of receipt. Please keep the box if you are contacting us about a damaged item.
Please send photos of the defect as well as serial numbers (SN) on the product label to customerservice@physiostore.ca. We will communicate with you if the item(s) is/are eligible for replacement. If approved, we will provide you with a return shipping to send back the defective product, you will receive a replacement after the defective product is received.

30-Day Return Window. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that have been opened or tried on, provided they remain in resellable condition.
To qualify for a refund, items must be returned clean, complete, and in like-new condition with all original components, instructions, and product/identification labels intact. Please pack returns securely (ideally in a secondary shipping box) to prevent damage in transit.
Restocking fees may apply. If an item is returned used, damaged, missing packaging/instructions, or not in resellable condition, a restocking fee of up to 25% may be deducted from the refund.
International orders are final sale. Orders shipped outside of Canada are not eligible for return or exchange.

A Little about Osteoarthritis
The knee has 2 compartments, the inside (medial) compartment and the outside (lateral) compartment. Most of the time, when you get osteoarthritis of the knee, you wear down one compartment more than the other. In a majority of the cases, the inside of the knee wears down more, leading to a bowlegged appearance of the knee in extreme cases (medial compartment OA). Other times, the outside (lateral) compartment of the knee wears down leading to a knocked knee appearance of the knee (lateral compartment OA).
The Ossur Formfit Pro Knee OA Brace is designed to take the pressure off the compartment that is more severely worn down. For this knee brace to be fully effective, It is important to figure out which knee compartment (medial or lateral) is worn down more before deciding which OA Knee brace is right for you.

How Does The Ossur Formfit Pro Knee OA Brace Work?
Unloader knee braces for osteoarthritis unload the affected, painful side of the knee using a 3-Point Leverage System. The thigh and calf shells account for two points of leverage, while the Dynamic Force System™ (DFS) straps provide the third. This system “unloads” the pressure from the affected area, providing a clinically proven reduction in OA knee pain.

- Early or Mild unicompartmental (medial or lateral compartement) knee osteoarthritis.
- Degenerative meniscal tears / degeneration.
- Other unicompartmental knee conditions that may benefit from unloading, such as: Articular cartilage defect repair Meniscal repair, Avascular necrosis, Condylar bone marrow lesions , Tibial plateau fractures.
