Infracare Pero Brace for Foot Drop
The Infracare Pero Brace for Foot Drop is a lightweight drop foot brace designed to assist with dorsiflexion during walking. It helps support the front of the foot so the toes do not drag, allowing individuals experiencing foot drop to walk more safely and confidently.
Drop foot occurs when weakness or nerve injury prevents the muscles that lift the front of the foot from functioning properly. This can cause the toes to drag during gait and increase the risk of tripping. The Infracare Pero Brace helps maintain a more natural foot position while walking, improving stability and overall mobility.
Customers searching for a drop foot brace in Canada often want a solution that supports walking while remaining comfortable enough for everyday use. The Infracare Pero Brace provides lightweight assistance and easy adjustment, making it a practical option for individuals managing foot drop related to nerve injury, stroke, or other neurological conditions.
The brace features an adjustable BOA-style closure system that allows users to fine-tune tension using a simple dial. This provides precise adjustment and makes the brace easier to apply and remove compared with traditional strap-based drop foot braces.
Why Use a Drop Foot Brace?
Drop foot braces help lift the front of the foot during walking. This can reduce toe dragging, lower the risk of tripping, improve walking confidence, and help maintain a more natural gait pattern during daily activities.
Who May Benefit from the Infracare Pero Brace
This brace may be helpful for individuals experiencing drop foot due to neurological or musculoskeletal conditions such as nerve injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, peroneal nerve damage, or lumbar nerve compression.
Adjustable BOA Closure System
The integrated BOA dial adjustment system allows users to tighten or loosen the brace quickly for a secure and comfortable fit. Turning the dial increases tension for support, while pulling the dial releases tension for easy removal.
