The Physio Store Mini Exercise Bike with Digital Display provides a convenient way to add seated arm or leg exercise at home. Its compact design requires much less space than a conventional exercise bike and can be moved between rooms using the integrated carrying handle.
Use the adjustable tension dial to select a comfortable pedalling resistance. Meanwhile, the LCD monitor provides simple exercise feedback without complicated programming or an electrical outlet.
Seated Exercise for the Upper or Lower Body
Place the mini exercise bike on the floor for lower-body pedalling or secure it on a stable table for upper-body exercise. It can support general movement, light conditioning and exercises recommended by a physiotherapist or other healthcare professional.
Key Features
- Arm or leg exercise: Use the pedals with your feet for lower-body exercise or with your hands for upper-body exercise.
- Adjustable manual resistance: Turn the tension dial to make pedalling easier or more challenging.
- Digital exercise monitor: Tracks elapsed time, estimated distance, pedal count, total count and estimated calories.
- Scan function: Automatically cycles through the available exercise measurements.
- Adjustable pedal straps: Help keep the hands or feet positioned during controlled pedalling.
- Textured pedal surfaces: Provide additional contact beneath the hands or footwear.
- Wide stabilizing supports: Create a broader base during seated exercise.
- Rubberized feet: Help protect the exercise surface and reduce unwanted movement.
- Integrated carrying handle: Makes it easier to move the exerciser or place it into storage.
- No electrical outlet required: The pedalling mechanism is manually powered.
A Convenient Alternative to a Full-Size Exercise Bike
A compact pedal exerciser can be useful when space, mobility or access to a conventional exercise bike is limited. The user remains seated in a separate chair, so there is no need to climb over a bike frame or balance on a saddle.
The manual resistance system also allows the exercise to begin at a comfortable level. Resistance can then be adjusted gradually according to the user’s abilities, comfort and exercise program.
Intended for Personal and Home Use
This is a light-duty pedal exerciser intended for personal use. It is suitable for general home exercise and healthcare-professional-directed rehabilitation activities, but it is not designed for continuous commercial or high-volume clinic use.
Using the Mini Exercise Bike for Leg Exercise
- Place the exerciser on a flat, firm surface with the tension dial facing you.
- Sit in a comfortable, stable chair that will not roll or move during exercise.
- Position the exerciser far enough away that your hips and knees remain comfortable throughout the pedal cycle.
- Place each foot securely beneath its pedal strap.
- Begin with a light resistance and pedal forward using a slow, controlled motion.
- Adjust the resistance only when you can continue pedalling comfortably and smoothly.
When a healthcare professional has prescribed pedalling for recovery, follow their instructions regarding positioning, resistance, duration and permitted range of movement.
Using the Mini Exercise Bike for Arm Exercise
- Place the exerciser securely on a stable table at a comfortable height.
- Ensure the unit cannot slide or move across the tabletop.
- Position the tension dial toward you.
- Place each hand beneath a pedal strap.
- Move the pedals forward using a slow, controlled circular motion.
- Adjust the tension according to your comfort and exercise goals.
Important Safety Information
This product must be used from a seated position. Never stand on the pedals or use the unit as a weight-bearing exercise bike. Place it on a flat, stable surface with enough room for safe movement. Keep children, pets, loose clothing and jewellery away from moving parts.
Stop exercising if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath beyond what is expected, or unusual discomfort. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use when recovering from surgery, managing a medical condition or beginning a new rehabilitation program.
LCD Exercise Monitor
Press the red button to turn on the LCD monitor and move between the available functions:
- Time: Displays the elapsed exercise time.
- Distance: Provides an estimated distance in kilometres.
- Count: Records pedal movements during the current exercise session.
- Total Count: Accumulates pedal movements across multiple sessions.
- Calories: Provides an estimate of calories used during exercise.
- Scan: Cycles through the available monitor functions.
The distance and calorie measurements are estimates intended for general exercise feedback. They should not be treated as medically precise measurements. The total-count reading is cleared when the monitor battery is removed or replaced.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a mini exercise bike used for?
A mini exercise bike provides compact, seated pedalling exercise without requiring the user to climb onto a full-size exercise bike. It can be used for general movement, light conditioning or as part of a rehabilitation program recommended by a healthcare professional.
Can this mini exercise bike be used for both arms and legs?
Yes. Place it on the floor in front of a stable chair for leg exercise. For arm exercise, place it securely on a stable table at a comfortable height.
Is this an electric mini exercise bike?
No. This is a manual pedal exerciser, so your arms or legs create the movement. It does not require an electrical outlet.
Can the pedalling resistance be adjusted?
Yes. Turn the tension dial to increase or decrease the resistance. Begin with a light setting and gradually adjust it according to your comfort and exercise instructions.
What does the digital monitor track?
The LCD monitor displays elapsed time, estimated distance, pedal count, total count and estimated calories. A scan setting cycles through the available measurements.
Are the distance and calorie readings exact?
No. The distance and calorie readings are estimates intended to provide general exercise feedback. They should not be considered medically precise measurements.
Can I use this after knee or hip surgery?
Pedalling exercise is included in some rehabilitation programs, but the correct timing, resistance and range of movement depend on the procedure and the individual. Follow the instructions provided by your surgeon, physiotherapist or other healthcare professional.
Is this mini exercise bike suitable for seniors?
It may be a convenient option for many older adults because it is used from a seated position. The user should be able to sit safely in a stable chair and control the pedals. Anyone with balance, mobility or medical concerns should obtain professional advice before beginning.
Can I stand on the pedals?
No. This product must be used while seated and is not designed to support body weight. Standing on the pedals could cause a fall or damage the exerciser.
Can it be used under a desk?
It may fit beneath some desks, but you must allow enough space for both the exerciser and your knees as the pedals turn. The unit is approximately 30 cm high when assembled, and additional knee clearance is required.
Will the pedal exerciser slide during use?
The stabilizing feet help reduce movement, but sliding can still occur depending on the floor, resistance setting and pedalling technique. Place it on a firm, level surface and use a nonslip mat underneath when necessary.
Does the mini exercise bike fold?
No. It has a compact frame but does not fold. The integrated carrying handle makes it easier to move or place into storage.
Does it require assembly?
Yes. Minor assembly is required to attach the front and rear stabilizers, pedals and resistance knob. Assembly hardware, tools and instructions are included.
What type of battery does the display use?
The digital monitor requires one 1.5-volt AAA battery. The battery is not included.
