The Ossur Cold Rush Pads are designed to deliver continuous cold therapy to the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, back or hand. The unique, unbroken loop covering on the top portion of our Cold Rush Pads allows for use without foam wraps.
Simply use the elastic straps to secure the Cold Rush in place. The patient can utilize the pad under post-operative bracing systems. Cold Rush Pads are intended for single surgery use. Insulation barrier (not included) is required to go between skin and pad – alternative options are a towel or sock with the end cut off.
The Cold Rush Pads are warrantied for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Ossur’s Warranty Guarantees their Cold Therapy Machines for 6 months & the Cold Rush Pads for 30 days.
Össur warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not apply if this product:
- was not purchased from Össur or its authorized dealer;
- has been altered in any way; or
- has not been used in accordance with Össur’s Instructions for Use (IFU).
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, accidents, neglect, misuse, or operation beyond capacity, parts damaged by improper installation, substitution or parts not approved by Össur, or any other alteration or repair by others that, in Össur’s judgment, materially or adversely affects the product or part.
The duration of this Limited Warranty varies by product but is effective from the date of delivery to the purchaser. Össur’s sole obligation under this Limited Warranty is to either repair or replace the product at no charge, or to credit purchaser’s account for the value of the defective product at Össur’s sole discretion. Please check your package immediately to be sure your order is correct and items were not damaged. If you receive a defective product or an incomplete order, CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY prompt action. Damaged or short shipments should be reported within 5 days of receipt. Please keep the box if you are contacting us about a damaged item.
Please send photos of the defect as well as serial numbers (SN) on the product label to customerservice@physiostore.ca. We will communicate with you if the item(s) is/are eligible for replacement. If approved, we will provide you with a return shipping to send back the defective product, you will receive a replacement after the defective product is received.

30-Day Return Window. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that remain new and unopened.
Unopened condition required. Security seals must remain intact and packaging must not be opened. Items must be returned in original, unused condition for full product credit.
All law labels, identification labels, manuals, and original packaging must remain attached and undamaged. Please pack returns carefully in a secondary shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
If an item is returned opened, used, or not in resellable condition, the return will not be accepted. You will be contacted regarding return shipping fees to have the item shipped back to you.
If we do not receive instructions regarding return shipment within 30 days, you authorize us to dispose of the item on your behalf.
International orders are final sale. Orders shipped outside of Canada are not eligible for return or exchange.

The Ossur Cold Rush Pad offer continuous cold therapy to different regions of the body, including the ankle, shoulder, hand, back, or knee. Ossur’s Cold Rush Pads are designed to be used with the Ossur Cold Rush Cold Device, which is sold separately.
The Cold Rush Pads have a unique and unbroken loop covering on them that enables them to be used without the need for foam wraps or any other additional products. Simple elastic straps can be used to make sure that the therapy pads stay in place for a patient. These pads can be used under bracing systems used after an operation.
Keep in mind, Ossur designed these Cold Rush Pads for single surgery-use only. There is also a need to utilize an insulation barrier between the pad itself and the skin. The insulation barrier is not included in the product. Alternatively, patients can utilize towels or socks with the end cut off as effective insulation barriers between the skin and the Cold Rush Therapy Pads.
Cold Rush Pads come in different dimensions, based on the part of the body they are meant to be used for, as well as a universal shape and a rectangular shape.

The small shoulder pad is ideal for petite person with smaller frame. The large shoulder pad is ideal for an average-stout person with a larger frame. We recommend the large if you’re unsure, as it will cover more area.
You can use the rectangular pad for a smaller / medium sized wrist or hand or a Lumbar pad for a larger wrist or hand.

The pads here werea bit more expensive than other online retailers, but the cost of the machine was much lower so for ease of purchasing/shipping we ordered them together. It was an easy online purchase, faster than expected shipping and everything arrived ready to use. This pad/machine have been a life-saver to minimize post-op pain.
