Allard VISSION Finger Splint POSI
The Allard VISSION Finger Splint POSI is a textile hand and finger orthosis designed for clinical use in the immobilization of the hand and fingers II-V. It features an adjustable volar aluminum splint that helps position the hand in the Position of Safe Immobilization (POSI), while the adjustable distal strap helps fine-tune fit and support. It is well suited for trauma, post-operative care, fractures of the metacarpals and fingers, and Dupuytren syndrome.
The splint is designed to stabilize the wrist, palm, and fingers in one integrated support. Compared with simpler finger splints, this design is better suited to broader hand immobilization when multiple fingers and the wrist need support at the same time.
Why Choose the VISSION Finger Splint POSI?
Updated Model
What Is POSI?
POSI stands for Position of Safe Immobilization. The adjustable volar aluminum splint helps position the hand in a protected clinical alignment intended to support healing, protect joints, and help reduce the risk of contractures during recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Allard VISSION Finger Splint POSI compare to the older VISSION Finger Splint Multi?

Compared with the older VISSION Finger Splint Multi, the POSI model adds more precise positioning in the Position of Safe Immobilization (POSI), includes an adjustable volar aluminum splint, and has a customizable distal finger strap for a more individualized fit. Allard also highlights that the wide strap can help reduce edema in the fingers and on the back of the hand. Both products are designed for temporary immobilization after trauma or surgery and may be used for fractures and Dupuytren’s contracture, but the POSI version is positioned as the newer, more clinically refined option.
